Ghana's economy has been on a roller coaster for ups and downs. Before Britain came and took over there trade, Ghana's trade was mostly about fishing and cattle. There trade was very good for the people of there location also they were peaceful and farmed the land.
There were not many technological advancements in there region witch held back there area of trade. In the 1800's the British forced them to mine gold and sell it to Britain. After Britain left the economy has been approving 4% each year.
Since they have been improving there economic standpoint the nation received a C+. The grade is not as good as others because they did not advance as much as other civilizations. There inviroment help back a lot of trade also becouse of desserts and oceans.
